Want to learn new pipe snowboarding tricks? Try this one on for size.Backside Alley-Oop explained in parts by pro snowboarder Jack Mitrani.

There are a few ways to determine whether you're goofy or regular. Try them, but know that the body can adapt to riding either way. If you already do a board sport (skateboarding, surfing, wakeboarding, etc.) then your stance is probably the same for snowboarding, although it's always the same.
To detune your snowboard, use a small hand file, angled 45 degrees to your board's edge, and pull with a few small strokes towards you to dull the edge. Polish with a gummy stone to keep smooth. Research the manufacturer and model of your board, it may already be slightly detuned.
Waxing is super important. Watch as Jack Mitrani walks you through the proper way to wax your snowboard. Check out more at www.TWSNOW.com
"Skating" is the first thing you need to learn when you strap into a snowboard. You will need to "skate" in the lift line, off the chairlift, and in any flat areas. In this video Kevin Pearce and Jack Mitrani go through the basics on how to skate/ one foot on your snowboard.

Jack and Kevin teach you the first step of snowboarding- basic turning. Check out more at http://www.twsnow.com
